The Linaya Vista Apartment, a 1,800 sq ft residence in Attidiya, Sri Lanka, represents a modern residential addition to an existing three-story commercial building. Seamlessly integrating the new construction with the existing three-story commercial building required careful planning and execution. The design team ensured structural compatibility and aesthetic harmony between the old and new elements. This project prioritized in utilizing a built footprint in creating a modern and comfortable home tailored for a couple. The apartment features spacious master bedrooms with attached bathroom, guest bed room, Common bath room, a well-equipped kitchen with backing niche, a combined living and dining area, an office room, and a maid’s room with an attached washroom. The design prioritizes maximizing views, particularly from the master bedroom, creating a serene and private living experience within a bustling urban context.
