Project Overview:

This project involved the renovation of an existing villa comprising two separate structures—a two-storied building at one end and a single-story building on the other. The intent was to transform the fragmented layout into a cohesive, tranquil modern villa that blends comfort with character. The new layout accommodates five rooms, each with attached bathrooms, private balconies, and private outdoor garden spaces, offering both privacy and immersive indoor-outdoor living.

An additional dining pavilion was introduced to face the serene pool view, enhancing the villa’s social and sensory experience. Despite the limited space, a thoughtfully designed entrance was introduced, allowing for a smooth spatial progression that enhances the overall user experience with a warm and inviting welcome.

Design Concept:

Hence the existing buildings lacked a unified design language, the core concept was to create visual and spatial harmony between the two using subtle architectural interventions. The pool placed centrally now acts as the connecting element—a tranquil anchor around which the villa flows. The landscape and building elements were thoughtfully aligned to celebrate the pool and embrace greenery, cultivating a calm ambiance.

While the overall transformation leans toward a modern and minimal aesthetic, selected antique features were carefully integrated to retain a sense of heritage and depth. Materiality and finishes were curated to reflect both elegance and warmth, allowing the villa to feel timeless yet refreshed.
